I have never paid so much to have such a botch sound job and yet be so far from the stage at any concert in my life and have a consistent near police type vibe at a concert. When we left our row because of not being able to see, the security descended and told us we had to stay at our seat or leave. The up close seats we paid a huge sum for were 30 rows from the stage. The mgm sound dude had the volumes turned up and twisted on vocals to the point where lyrics blurred and instumentals clashed. Despite this band being some of the best musicians I've seen over the years, the sound was absolutely wretched. But that's not even the reason for this one star review. We had driven hours to get to this venue so one out of 4 of us had to sit in our vehicle as mgm would not allow them even into the building. They said their ID was expired by a month. Despite our group being adults in our 50s, the Gestapo MGM security would not let one of our party in.
I bought a four packet of tickets and chose the best seats closest to the stage. Mgm had one of my favorite artists last night, a group ive seen yearly for the last 20 years. If I could give a negative star, I would.
